As reported by the New York Law Journal, on September 3, litigation partner Maria Vullo was nominated by the Commission on Judicial Nomination to be an Associate Judge of the New York Court of Appeals, the state's highest court. Vullo was one of seven candidates whose names were submitted to Governor Andrew Cuomo by a commission chaired by former chief judge Judith Kaye.
