Litigation partner Lew Clayton's article "Fashion design protection bill: the right balance?" appears in the September 13 issue of The National Law Journal. The article discusses proposed legislation that would provide a limited form of copyright protection for fashion designs, creating an exception to the general rule that functional features of a product may not be copyrighted.
