Why the Equal Rights Amendment is still relevant today and the arguments behind the amicus brief filed on behalf of over 100 businesses in support of the Equal Rights Amendment were the topics of a panel hosted by the Women’s Network in NY and DC.
Moderated by litigation partner Liza Velazquez, the panel included Jill Simeone, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Etsy, one of the first companies to sign onto the amicus brief; Paul, Weiss alumna Michelle Kallen, Deputy Solicitor of Virginia, the 38th State to ratify the ERA; and litigation associate Tamar Holoshitz.
