Rocket Companies to Acquire Redfin for $1.75 Billion

Paul, Weiss is advising Rocket Companies, a Detroit-based fintech platform consisting of mortgage, real estate and personal finance businesses, on its acquisition of leading digital real estate brokerage Redfin. The all-stock transaction values each Redfin share at $12.50, for a total of $1.75 billion of equity value. The deal is expected to close in the second or third quarter of 2025, subject to approval by Redfin shareholders and other closing conditions.
