Henrik Morch is a partner in the Antitrust Group in the Brussels office. A deeply experienced antitrust lawyer, he advises clients on all aspects of EU competition law, from merger control and cartel investigations to foreign direct investment reviews.
EXPERIENCE
Henrik joined the firm from the European Commission, where he served in various important roles over more than three decades. Most recently, Henrik served as the Director of Transport, Post and Other Services at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition, known as DG Comp, a position he held for over eight years. In this role, Henrik led the Commission’s division responsible for antitrust policy and enforcement in the transport, post and other services sectors, overseeing merger control investigations, antitrust and market sector inquiries, state aid cases and legislative proposals.
Prior to that role, Morch served in other various key legal positions in the European Commission, including Assistant to the Director-General of DG Competition, the legal advisor in the cabinets of Commissioners Poul Nielson and Marian Fischer Boel, the head of the legal affairs unit and head of the unit for single market policy in the Directorate-General for Internal Market and Services.
