Ben's practice focuses on private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations and strategic corporate advisory work. - Phoenix Group on several insurance business transfers, bringing together the businesses of 4 legal entities, comprising c.£200 billion of assets
- AXA on:
- the reinsurance of €1.3 billion of longevity risk
- the sale of AXA Life Europe’s offshore bonds business
- Deloitte on various transactions, including the reorganization of its CIS business and on a shareholders’ agreement for the establishment of its delivery center in the Philippines
- PwC International on the US$2.2 billion sale of its global mobility business to CD&R
- KPMG UK on the merger of the KPMG UK and KPMG Switzerland partnerships
- Nestlé on the acquisition of Lily’s Kitchen and on the sale of its Israeli ice cream business
- Bank of America Merrill Lynch on the sale of CM Investment Solutions
- RMI on the sale of its interest in Hastings Group, a UK-based general insurer
- Oaktree on the establishment of Marco Capital, a P&C insurance run-off platform
