A partner in the Corporate Department, Anusha Simha is a member of the Investment Funds Group. Anusha focuses her practice on the formation and operation of a variety of private investment funds, including private equity funds, credit funds, infrastructure funds and other types of alternative asset funds. She advises clients on a wide range of fund formation issues, including the development and marketing of funds to U.S. and non-U.S. investors, and related regulatory and compliance matters.

Anusha also has experience in advising fund managers on all aspects of the business of alternative asset management, including regulatory issues, management company “upper tier” arrangements, investment management M&A transactions, co-investment vehicles, seeding arrangements, secondary transactions and strategic joint venture arrangements.

Anusha began her legal career as an associate in the firm’s Investment Funds Group. Anusha’s clients have included, among others:

Anusha was also shortlisted as a “Corporate Rising Star” by Euromoney for the 2024 Women in Business Law America Awards, which recognize women at the forefront of legal work in business law and firms that have produced initiatives and programs to support and encourage women and diversity within the industry.

Anusha maintains an active role in various pro bono representations, including recently representing a Ukrainian family seeking asylum in the U.S.
