Interstate Waste Services Acquires Solterra Recycling Solutions

Paul, Weiss advised Roark Capital Group in the sale of its portfolio company Solterra Recycling Solutions to Interstate Waste Services, Inc., the largest privately held provider of solid waste collection, transfer, recycling and disposal services serving the greater New York City and New Jersey markets. Solterra is a non-hazardous solid waste, organic waste and recycling collection provider serving residential and commercial customers throughout the central New Jersey and Philadelphia markets. The transaction will build upon existing collection and processing operations within central and southern New Jersey. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
