Personal representation partner Alan Halperin presented the New York City Bar Association's 2016 Mortimer H. Hess Memorial Lecture. Alan's lecture and the accompanying article, co-authored by personal representation associate Zoey Orol and titled "Modern Variations on an Ancient Theme: Fundamental Changes in Trust Law," addressed the recent developments dramatically reshaping trust principles, such as trust protectors, directed trusts, decanting, trust reformation, quiet trusts and self-settled asset protection trusts. The event, which is held annually, took place on May 23 in New York City.
