Marcelo Triana is an associate in the Litigation Department specializing in complex commercial litigation, and white collar and regulatory defense. Marcelo has substantial experience briefing motions and appeals in state and federal courts across the country. He has also represented clients in investigations brought by U.S. regulators, including the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Marcelo has advised clients on matters involving a wide range of industries, including technology, higher education, financial services, and copper mining. His matters have involved allegations of securities fraud, breaches of contract, mass torts, and antitrust violations.

While attending NYU School of Law, Marcelo served as senior online editor of the NYU Law Review. In 2018, Marcelo published, “Is Selling Malware a Federal Crime?” in the NYU Law Review.
