The American Lawyer has honored Paul, Weiss in the publication's Global Legal Awards for "Global M&A Deal of the Year: Canada." The firm was recognized for its role in the CNOOC/Nexen deal, the largest-ever overseas acquisition made by a Chinese company. The results are based on the nominations of over 300 firms, from every major global player in the U.S. and U.K., as well as many others from around the world.
