Paul, Weiss Collaborates With Oak Hill Advisors and HIAS to Assist Refugees

Paul, Weiss launched a clinic to assist refugees in gaining lawful permanent residency status in the U.S., in collaboration with Oak Hill Advisors and HIAS, a Jewish American nonprofit that provides humanitarian aid and assistance to refugees.

In the coming weeks, Paul, Weiss attorneys will work alongside members of Oak Hill’s legal department to interview refugee clients and prepare legal documents to assist in their adjustment of status applications. Clients this year include individuals and families from Ukraine and Myanmar.

The Paul, Weiss team includes corporate partners Conrad van Loggerenberg and Marco Masotti, counsel Caitlin Kelly, Jyoti Sharma and Maury Slevin, and associates Anusha Simha, Adam Friedland, Dylan Keegan, Iryna Malakhouskaya, Talia Homchick, Kayla Anderson and Katia Bogomolova. The clinic was organized by pro bono attorney Emily Donohoe.
