Paul, Weiss was “highly recommended” by Global Competition Review (GCR) in its 2022 "GCR 100” in the New York and Washington, D.C. regions. The publication noted the firm's involvement in multiple antitrust merger and dispute matters, including Metro Goldwyn Mayer in its $8.5 billion sale to Amazon and Nuance Communications in its $19.7 billion sale to Microsoft, among several others. On the disputes side, GCR noted the group’s representation of Apple against high-profile antitrust litigation challenging the company’s App Store practices and policies; Becton, Dickinson in the dismissal of a class action alleging that it participated in an illegal boycott of group purchasers; FIFA in overcoming Relevent Sports’ claims that the US Soccer Federation had illegally refused the company the chance to host matches in the U.S.; and Amazon and News Corp in various matters.
